According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, “speech is the communication or expression of thoughts in spoken words, the power of expressing or communicating thoughts by speaking”. I would like you to understand that what people call insurmountable obstacles, challenges, or barriers are often a display of ignorance. The truth is, when you know better, it will reflect in your exploits. You will never do better than you know.
That is why I am sharing this topic with you, so you will operate and live with the understanding that you are where you are today because of what you said or knew yesterday, and where you will be in the future will be determined by what you know and declare today. It may interest you to know that ignorance or lack of knowledge kills faster than any disease. “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge…” Amos 4:6.
Looking into James chapter three, verse two, I discovered that the tongue is the command center of the entire body. “For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature” James 3:2 AMPC. Connecting James chapter three, verse two, with Mark 11:23, “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says’ Leading to Galatians 6:7, Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. And stopping at Luke 8:11 where Jesus says, “The seed is the word of God”. I discovered that your future is determined by what you say. When I was younger, I used to farm, and I found out that we never planted maize and then harvested sweet potatoes. That is forever impossible. What you say is what you will become, because God and the angels are in the ministry of confirming what you say.
That is why this teaching will be a pathfinder for you, helping you set a good pace for your future. Before we proceed, see what Dr. Paul Yonggi Cho of blessed memory said in his book titled The Fourth Dimension, Volume One, pages 51–52. “One morning I was eating breakfast with one of Korea’s leading neurosurgeons, who was telling me about various medical findings on the operation of the brain. He asked, “Dr. Cho, did you know that the speech center in the brain rules over all the nerves? You ministers really have power, because according to our recent findings in neurology, the speech center in the brain has total dominion over all the other nerves.” Then I laughed, saying, “I’ve known that for a long time.” “How did you know that?” he asked. “In the world of neurology these are new findings.” …Then this neurosurgeon began to expound their findings. He said that the speech nerve center had such power over all of the body that simply speaking can give one control over his body, to manipulate it in the way he wishes. He said, “If someone keeps on saying, ‘I’m going to become weak,’ then right away all the nerves receive that message, and they say, ‘Oh, let’s prepare to become weak, for we’ve received instructions from our central communication that we should become weak.’ They then in natural sequence adjust their physical attitudes to weakness.”
You can see that whatever doctors are discovering today is already in the Word of God. This agrees with Proverbs 18:21: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Negative words lead to a destructive life, and positive words result in a constructive or glorious life. Understand also that words are spirit, and they do not die. “The words I have spoken to you are spirit and life” John 6:63. You can administer life and healing to your body through your speech. However, when you receive Jesus Christ into your life, the only One who died and rose again and has power over all disease and death, your words become carriers of the life of God, the same Word that was used in creating the universe (see John 1:1–5).
As a believer, you can shape your health, your wealth, and your future by your words, because you now carry within you, through the Holy Spirit, the One who created the world. I have many personal testimonies of how my words delivered me from sickness and from the attacks of the enemy.
All you have to do is let Christ into your life and be empowered to release healing and creative words over yourself, thereby living a healthy and fruitful life.
To accept Jesus Christ, please pray this prayer: (Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I acknowledge my sins and forsake them; I accept you as my Lord and savior, thank You Lord for saving me in Jesus Name).
For healing or deliverance prayers, you may contact us as soon as possible. To conclude, remember: negative words lead to a destructive life, and positive words result in a constructive or glorious life. Make a good choice to speak positive words. I speak into your life right now, you are coming out victorious from that challenge in Jesus’ Name. Jesus is Lord!
For a good start, practice these declarations daily and watch how your life takes great shape.
I framed the declarations below from the Scriptures listed beneath.
The Word of God is the Power of God.
The Power of God is the Spirit of God.
The Spirit of God is the Presence of God.
The Presence of God is the Anointing of God.
And it is the Anointing of God that breaks the yoke.
Genesis 1:2-3. John 1:1-5. John 1:14. John 5:8-9. Hebrews 1:3. Isaiah 10:27. Isaiah 55:10-11. Psalms 107:20. Psalms 138:2. Jeremiah 32:27. Numbers 14:28. Job 22:28. Luke 21:15. Please, get your Bible and study the above unlined scriptures.
Before making these declarations below, I would like you to carefully read what Dr. Lisa Feldman Barrett, PhD, said about the power of words. She is a renowned neuroscientist, psychologist, and Distinguished Professor at Northeastern University, known for developing the theory of constructed emotion, with appointments at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. She said:
“Why do you feel delight when someone gives you a compliment? Why do you feel stung when someone insults you? Neuroscientists ask the same questions and are now starting to craft some surprising answers. Many of your brain regions that process language, it turns out, also control the insides of your body, such as your major organ systems, your hormones, and your immune system. These brain regions are contained in what scientists call the ‘language network’ because they participate in language-related functions. They allow you to read and understand these words and to explain them to someone else who speaks your language. At the same time, these brain regions guide your heart rate up and down. They adjust the amount of glucose circulating in your bloodstream to fuel your cells. They change the flow of chemicals that support your immune system. When people talk about the power of words, it’s not a metaphor. It’s in your brain wiring. It’s also in the brain wiring of other animals; for example, brain cells that are important for birdsong also control the organs of a bird’s body. The power of words over your biology can span great distances. Right now, I can text the words ‘I love you’ from the United States to my close friend in Belgium, and even though she cannot hear my voice or see my face, I will change her heart rate, her breathing, and her metabolism. Or someone could text something ambiguous to you like ‘Is your door locked?’ and odds are that it would affect your nervous system in an unpleasant way.”
Dr. Lisa’s findings are 100% in line with the Bible, the Word of God. Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…” God further said in Numbers 14:28, “Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you.’” And Genesis 11:6 says, “…nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Imaginations give birth to words. What you think is what you say, and that is what you become. https://mariashriver.com/the-power-of-words/

And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
